Progetti X Luoghi is a publication gathering several essays and 22 graduation thesis by the University of Florence's Architecture Faculty's students on the theme of the "site", intended as an input for a contemporary design. The displayed projects are not "exmples to imitate", but concepts to examine in order to move forward and propose new "rational synthesis". These works come along with writings by several authors, who typically collaborate with the University of Florence's Architecture Design Department. Such writings investigate on the relations triggered by an architecture and urban planning which is aware of the context's values.
